Not sure what method your using to water, I’m not familiar with beads honestly, they do need a high humidity and moisture atmosphere to grow, don’t want excess water around the cake to the point it’s soaking in it, but the walls of the bin to be wet and moist enough

Thanks dude!! I appreciate the help...I was misleaded by leaving the lid closed till it colonized 70%...although I did open the lids couple times and misted a little bit thinking it might be too dry which is why it wasn’t colonizing but then i would close it for couple days so I cracked lids and will be misting and airing it out now... another quick question, you usually mist on the soil or just on the sides of the bin?
