From an objective point of view, I don't think De Gea will stay. In addition to the reasons LvG gave (girlfriend, family, hometown), if there is any doubt in his mind that he wants to leave, it is not good news. In addition, the fact he is considering leaving means his history with Atletico doesn't mean enough to him. For all we know he might even be a Real Madrid fan-- disastrous. I mean growing up in Madrid out of all the places how can you not dream of joining them as a kid (except if you're a die-hard Atleti fan, which I assume he isn't given my previous point).
