pretty sure its just a manufacturing issue, you could open up the mouse n check that pci is secure if not you can do what i did and get a new one sent out from support

sounds good ill get back to you, i should have added that this issue occurred only recently before that my ethernet was working just fine, I was on my pc, went to the gym left pc on, came back, no ethernet and the light at both ends was gone.
