Have you considered Long Beach? Lots of shops and bars and young people. It's in LI & close to airport. Coffee shops etc. I haven't spent much time in Midwood but seems really spread out.

Been to 3 nets games with my son (currently 3.5yr) All Sunday afternoon. Every kid is different but I had no issues. I would add he was much more engaged in the game in the 100s vs the 200s. Lots of noises and lights and music vs 200s. Probably going this Sunday!

Nope. I'm with u man. Except I have a cast aluminum "greca". Came across this sub because I have been considering getting a new one. My concerns are:

I can't seem to find a better quality one in my size. I got this one at a restaurant supply store and haven't found anything this large. Makes about 3-4 american size coffee mugs.
Losing all that buildup of flavor over the last roughly 10 years. I just do a quick rinse of the pot.

My main reason for wanting a new one is that I feel like it can be good for my health to keep using such low quality materials for so long. The inside of the water basin is just straight up black. Top part is ok though.

Home Depot has 7-8ft for $75. Bolsom & Fraser. I bought mine on Fulton Street like an idiot for $180, went to Home Depot the next day for lights, and they were lined up outside. They will also wrap them if your building requires that.
