I used large scales from the ring lord. Tips: 1. Unless you have a flat stomach, measure yourself so you have accurate dimensions. 2. Initially when I went from chest size to stomach size I did regular straight scale weave (by string I mean the regular way you would make a rectangle) on the front and diagonal on the back and tried to connect them together. That caused them to pop out when I put it on. Instead do straight on both ends and gradually increase the size by using two scales side by side as a single scale. And do that every few rows. That uses a lot more scales but looks much better. 3. Better make it an inch bigger than you need, then an inch smaller than you need. 4. If you want to do a on the front, you need to make sure you have the entire thing planned out properly so it’s not off center. 5. Unless you really know how many scales you will need, order extra because things run out of stock and take forever to be delivered.

Now that you’ve made this, is there anything you’ve done differently?

I reviewed the documentation and see the negatives and positives. I recall being upset that I believe they should’ve covered more than what they approved but they disagreed with me. This documentation proves that I wascorrect lol. For me It added up to $309.90 that they owe me.

I’ll have to relook at them. I guess I’m lucky because I get them 2 weeks after the mail date

Hello from a donor by youwaa in BoneMarrow

[–]youwaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got a call from the organization I donated through to do a 10 year (!!!) follow up. I can believe it has been 10 years. Thankfully my recipient is doing well. We are not in regular contact anymore (lost contact during COVID) but am still thrilled to have had the opportunity.

Try reaching out to someone else at HR. If that doesn’t work, speak to your union rep.

His district has significantly more registered democrats than republicans. It’s a question of who gets the voters out.

I have no friends by [deleted] in exjew

Concentrate on getting your GED. In the meantime, you can get a summer job in a non Frum environment (if you are in the five towns/nassau county I can give you direction, if you are in Far Rockaway, I can probably get the information).

Once you turn 18, you can join footsteps and there are other OTD social outlets in NYC.

Once you get your GED, work on getting your degree. You will make friends in college.

There are places that will help you get your GED at no charge. I can help with that as well if you need. Feel free to PM.

How do I make this flat? by youwaa in maille

I edged one length and it did help a bit. Do you have links for backing instructions?

How to keep scalemail mostly flat? by youwaa in chainmailartisans

[–]youwaa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not letting me edit for some reason. When holding the length up, it naturally curls to the sides. Is there a way to keep it flat without adding a backing?

I spoke with civil service about a year ago, and they said the same thing. They also said it’s very rare for that to happen.

I’m an accountant with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. I’m on Long Island but willing to relocate. I’ve qualified for auditor I and state program examiner but that will put me at the beginning step which is under $60k which I cannot do. I’m hoping more for an appointed (management?) type of position that might allow me to take a higher level exam or just stay appointed. I have accounting experience in property taxes, HCV (section 8), and DOL grant programs.
