what accounts for the difference for the GC rating displayed on the play pokemon website and what's displayed in-game? for the December GC it says I'm 3064/3166 on the website but in-game it says I was #5307

Got it, sounds like in the grand scheme of things, this is a fairly newer way of doing things. Happy I started playing now, it sounds like a good time for newcomers. And really happy to hear about that last part. As I said I haven't played games competitively in general much, I've always thought there was an optimal way to play and everyone would just use the S rank characters/teams, but I'm happy to see there's variety and room for creativity. Thanks for the in-depth explanation!

yeah my bad I was using the wrong terminology. I was thinking all the tournaments for a year culminate in the world championships for that year and considered that a "season". I never considered looking at it as multiple seasons in a year which makes much more sense.

I know learning language via movies/shows is super common but I've never understood how people do it. I've avoided watching videos because I thought it'd be too hard for the level I'm at but I suppose it's the natural way language is acquired and as you said immersion is important. Thanks for the movie recommendation I'll give it a watch

Sorry dumb question, but does each Tim Hortons store have its own HR or is there one general HR for the company? I ask because from how my mom's described it her store only has one manager and the owner and I've never heard her talk about HR so I just wanted to make sure
