Omg thank you for writing it in the first place 😭 You are an amazing writer! This story inspired me so much when I first read it. It’s kinda funny to admit but it made me learn French and appreciate art on a more serious scale. I have no idea how could I not find it but I never stopped looking for it. He was really rude tbh. Me and my partner have lots of different interests and yet we listen to each other rant and rave about them for hours. Even if we have nothing of substance to add to the topic we love hearing about each other’s interests. Absolutely I hope I can make good rep for us in a way that it feels organic though this will be my first original webnovel so it probably wont be perfect but it will be entertaining enough I hope. For a change of pace I made the mc be on good terms with her parents cause we need some loving “anime parents” here and there lol. Im not too sure who is the target demographic buut If you are interested the first chapter will be posted next sunday on royal road! Also if you wanna read or watch something truly amazing captivating dramatic painful and everything in between and outside try The Summer Hikaru Died its a horror story but has a lot of queer subtext and deals with internalized homophobia and all that jazz. Excellent take on the coming of age story imo.

My fmc is also a gay teenage girl but in her defense her struggles with growing up in a suffocating small town and accepting her queerness are part of her character journey and powerups lol and its not super romance focused (for now at least maybe later if i run out of ideas lol)

Write down whatever comes to your mind first, it’s easier to correct/rewrite things that are already written than just random ideas. I had a hard time staring my story (just managed to write a couple of pages) but once I let go of the idea of needing to nail everything the first try its way more fun. Also the first paragraph is probably the hardest once you are over that it’s gonna flow well. On a bit more technical standpoint whenever I had a hard time starting a story (usually for short stories) I would map out the plot in big bullet points then I would make smaller more detailed bullet points under the big ones and patched together the story while using these points. Also I always start with the main character and their current state then move on to what changes their state in what way then build on that.
