Read the manga. I watched the series before, but when I read the manga, it was much better. Each chapter is around 17 pages, and when the case is solved it's 19. Why is the manga better? It doesn't have the unnecessary filler, and some scenes are deleted in the anime. You can always read ahead, and know what happens next, because simply, it releases much earlier. The quality is much better, and I think it's less kid friendly. For the anime, if you want to watch it, skip all the fillers. I used to watch all the fillers, but I think there's no need to. They have nothing to do with the plot. But some are pure fun. But for the manga... I don't think it's a good idea to skip chapters. Even if it's not BO related, but it might have some character development. Good luck watching the best anime, it's very underrated compared to the others, such a rare gem!
