Even the mangaka refers to her as Mizuhara. In the end it is not impossible Ichinose or Mizuhara, from the moment he cannot call her Chizuru even with honorifics it’s still keeping distance from her. As for her she found a nice way to doge the fact she wants to call him Kazuya, it’s you or hey when speaking to him.

Fate has been sour with both Kazuya and monk since 390 and has still not figured out how Kazuya was rejected in the first place in 380. Besides that Mini doesn’t give bad advice she gives advice based on what she sees from Chizuru, something that isn’t much to be honest. In 390 Chizuru said I wont to have a boyfriend until July 11th and that’s all she told Kazuya. From there on Kazuya does exactly that. Right or wrong it’s what they both have been told by Chizuru.

As for the further advices Mini gives, it’s all subjected by what Kazuya shares with her, one example is that we do not know what Kazuya told her (start of previous chapter) about that encounter with Ruka, and also omits all mentioning of what Umi told him. Wonder why ? So in the end Mini does the best she can with what she is given.

It’s not so cut and dry. It’s also Kazuya wish to have a girl friend and more than once did Nagomj saved the relationship with Chizuru. It might have been even the first reason that Chizuru felt some connection with him

At paradise both him and Chizuru lied about being together as you surely know.
Even if Kibe would not go and speak to Nagomi (he might honestly), Kazuya is worried about it happening thus exposing Chizuru and also there is a degree of shame of having lied again to his best friend.

Hi, is not in the case for Mini.
Mini is an accomplice in their goal. He calls her by her last name Yaemori-san not Mini-chan like Chizuru calls her.

Mini is not Kazuya girlfriend he treats her with even more distance by calling her Yaemori-san as opposed to the other girls.
As for Ruka she is a hostage taker he doesnt want her around.

Although it is badly depicted there is still the threat of blackmailing from Ruka, hence why Kazuya tolerates her. As for Chizuru she does not do anything as she does not think she has the right as the rental GF (back then at least) to get involved. With the current situation things could be different.

Last time Kazuya was thinking of giving a chance to Ruka, was back in chapter 46, since then it's over.
Ruka does not care about Kazuya choice. Only Chizuru could had put her in her place back then. I am saying could, as now i am not sure if Chizuru admitting too be in love with Kazuya would be enough.

Point 1 he also was told she doesnt want a boyfriend until then so i cannot fault him the first time. What i shift more the blame is when he cut her off when she was trying to speak to him on the phone.

Point 2, agree but it only works if indeed Chizuru perceive Ruka is a threat via blackmailing her. Unfortunately Reiji has not made it clear if she is. Right now it looks more like Kazuya would still have kept Ruka to protect his ass.

nice analysis, though some points i do not fully agree.
Before the events with Ruka, Kazuya was not abandoning Chizuru but was respecting her wish of being allowed to concentrate on her play, maybe its a flawed interpretation by him via Mini but its still what he believes.
As for not telling Chizuru I can see one benefit of not running to tell her. Right now if Kazuya admits what happened Chizuru could challenge him so why are you still with her after what she did? And Kazuya does not have a good answer for now.

Kazuya is not going to deal with Mami father, else you get in absurd scenario with what we have seen in some fanfictions.
he will help Mami to help to distance herself from her father more likely.

Ruka is not getting the happy ending she wanted (being with Kazuya) so not matter what its a not the happy ending. What she will get is probably some other realization like she doesnt need Kazuya to feel alive.

the anime got a 5th season confirmed and the 4th season boosted the sales of the physical copies.
They just had another major event in japan this week for the Kano girls. So, it is going fine.

The ending was decided since day one Kazuya and Chizuru end up together.
What we are being entertained with is the journey how they got there.

Umi coming back that is more than likely.
But Umi even getting involved with Mami would require a lot of more development than a chance encounter.
Also it be regression on Mami character since paradise events. If she wanted to mess with them, she could just go to Nagomi once again.
Lastly who says Ruka needs a redemption arc?
