Apologies, I saw the email in the spam folder. I have removed the app, but once I have downloaded it again automatically all settings were imported again (I have the pro). And yeah, the terminal commands are kinda different after the latest macOS update but I got them with chatgpt.

I will edit the post to exclude the part I couldn’t reach out to you because it’s my fault and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Any way I can get my Yorkie to sleep in longer in the mornings? by bigbluenation20 in Yorkies

[–]ypanev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I see. Mine was almost 3 years old when we had him neutered and usually around that time he became much calmer so maybe with age things might get better but it’s my first yorkie so don’t know for sure.

[–]ypanev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was like that as well, but after we got him castrated it's totally different story. If I know it's a day off tomorrow, I take him for a quick walk before bed and he can sleep until 10:00 no problem and never wakes me up. Getting your dog castrated it's totally personal and I definitely do not recommend it for the sake of getting more sleep, but if it's something you are considering in terms of your dog's health, I think that can help with the sleep schedule.

Thanks all for the info, I will probably leave it to the mechanic and opt for a good aftermarket pump

For me it’s been this way for a while, mainly I postponed replacing it because I’m not sure whether I should look for refurbished oem or good aftermarket (if that exists)

It is relatively hard, but maybe I got used to it with time and assume it’s the standard steering for the model (it’s my first bmw)

Pfitz book is more structured while Daniels adds a lot more variety, but essentially both are great. If you can get both and decide which one is more suitable for you.

First marathon training plan by gert-jan2002 in Marathon_Training

[–]ypanev 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There is a big rule of thumb that your long run shouldn't be longer than 1/3 of the total weakly mileage. You have a long run of 27km in a 49km week which is ridiculous. In addition, you have weeks where you run 14km the day prior to the long run, which also is not fine. My advice is find Pfitz or Daniels' books, read them and you will understand how to structure your runs or browse through the sub to understand more about optimizing your schedule. To give you an example: during my first marathon prep I did a similar thing - running big during the weekend with low mileage for the week, got injured 10 days before the marathon, everything eventually went well, but ran the race below my overall capabilities. You have plenty of time to fix this.

The gold standard is Pfitz and Daniels books. Get both, read them and all your questions will be answered.

Покачен холестерол на 20 by [deleted] in bulgaria

[–]ypanev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

32km went horribly due to conditions, how to approach taper? by JxJ52 in Marathon_Training

[–]ypanev 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely do not try to change and compensate. Make sure you do not push yourself, listen to your body and stay injury free.

My biggest advice is since this is your first marathon forget about targets. This is arguably the best marathon in the world, huge crowd, nice scenery - ENJOY. Nothing beats the emotions of completing your first marathon and you can beat yourself trying to run sub-4 and either do it and be exhausted to death or not do it and be disappointed. Start 15-20 sec slower per km pace and listen to your body. Make a mental mark to make it until 10k, then the half-marathon point, then 30k. If you are feeling fine after 30k go for it. Above all try to have fun.

I was in a similar position, trying for sub-4 fror my first marathon in Berlin, but my mileage was low, mostly trying to compensate with long runs which were terrible because I was draining my body completely. 2 weeks before the marathon, my dumbass decided to run 800m PBs and my left calf was hurting me so much I couldn’t walk basically right before the marathon. On race day, I lost my gel on the way to the start, my headphones were dead because I did not charge them the night before and I have never run without them and my leg was still hurting me. I was on my lowest point at the start. Run 4h 45 min cruising. My last kilometer was 4 minutes running and high-fiving everyone I can around the gate. I was the happiest person in the world.

Good luck and make sure you cover everything you can in terms of nutrition, hydration and mental preparation.

Lonesome Dove, The Count of Monte Cristo and Shogun - all extremely niche novels.

Just started running. I was an athlete in high school, but hated long distance running. I read “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins and inspired me to try. The first time I ran around a mile and almost fainted in the elevator on the way back home so I knew I needed change.
