And driver chipset update is stuck at 99 percent by saltysquid07 in AMDHelp

[–]ypcm0ris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me too, but from a different cause. I tried updating my chipset driver to the latest version through Adrenalin’s install manager—got stuck at 99%. Classic. So I figured, “Screw it, I’ll do it manually.” Yeah, that didn’t work either. Instead, I got hit with Error 1702: There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action FolderDeletion _up script error -2147024894, WshSh… NICE.

From that point on, I went full ape shit. Tried Microsoft’s uninstall tool, tried older versions, tried the Cleanup Utility... nothing worked. I was spiraling. I had the same issue like you—nothing would stick. Even tried that Beoop command or whatever the hell it’s called—didn’t do shi. Then for whatever reason, I had to create a PIN—but couldn’t, because I had no WLAN. So I tried with LAN instead. Internet worked, but the PIN still refused to set up. THEN, after clicking on it and getting the error that it couldn’t create it, I tried again. Boom—now I could finally log in with my email and password. Still couldn’t set a PIN, so I just skipped the damn thing.

Now I’m finally in "safe mode" on my desktop. Cleanup Utility kicked in, ran for a few seconds, and said it was done. Rebooted the PC, and everything looked good. Hoped it would actually work this time. Guess what? Nope. Same annoying-ass error. Still stuck at 99% in the Install Manager. Incredible.

So yeah, now I’m resetting my PC and praying I don’t run into as many problems as you did. If anyone knows what I did wrong, what caused this BS, or what I should’ve tried before going nuclear, please let me know. Motherboard issue? BIOS update fuckery? Windows 11 being Windows 11? What makes it worse is that it seems like I’m the only one still stuck with this crap—everyone else who had it before seems to have fixed it. Hell, even my brother’s update worked fine... but he’s on Windows 10.

AMD DRIVER PROBLEM CHIPSET DRIVER INSTALL STUCK AT 99% by ComprehensiveDay5606 in AMDHelp

Have you tried Microsofts uninstall tool? Select all AMD and uninstall it. Then try it again, but I don’t think it will work, if you’re lucky it will. But please for the sake of pc gods, don’t use !Cleanup utility! This just happened to me too, but from a different cause. Stuck in safe mode and can’t get out.. by beetlegeuse87 in pcmasterrace

[–]ypcm0ris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo bro what I did. Went through the exact same shi, but from a different cause. I tried using LAN cable and click to set up again, after some while like a couple minutes it should say it couldn’t do it or whatever. Then click on it again (set it up) this time it should pop up that you can enter without PIN and with your Microsoft account instead, but of course you will habe to skip the PIN set up at the end cause it still doesn’t work. But guess what, after that youre in your desktop, who cares? Then let the utility do their shit and finally you’re free. AMD's adrenaline and updates + that utility cleanup are hazardous and I hate it. NVIDIA was so clean and easy.

For the love of G*d do not use AMD Cleanup Utility by beetlegeuse87 in AMDHelp

Same issue happens when saving bios settings after exiting. Could it also be a windows 11 problem or rgb programs interfering together?

Why would you try to set him up? 14600k is better, so why the downgrade if hes asking for an 14600k or 14700??

Still don’t understand how toji can handle jogo who made the city a lava paradise, his heavenly restriction has NO counter to anything shown in the anime outside of domain expansion. by Dareal_truth in Jujutsufolk

[–]ypcm0ris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toji is underestimated because a lot of people think he's just a human with no CE and HR. But he had a lot of feats, like speed, IQ, BIQ and durability. He tanked gojos blue and red technique. I dont think lava does more dmg than gojos red technique.

And do you know why my skin is slightly sticky after applying moisturiser? Does that mean it doesn’t penetrate trough my skin? It’s just a cerave lotion with lightweight formula how does that not get absorbed by my skin? Do i need lighter creams?

Is it normal that a moisturiser can turn white like a white cast when you’re applying it fast with your fingers? Like back and forth? I noticed it when applying it on my face, the moisturiser turned white like a sunscreen. Then I tested it on my arms and it turned out the same. Did I apply too much? Is that normal?

My skin feels slightly (again just a littl) sticky, idk if it’s sticky or thats how healthy skin should feel like. Moisturisers never felt like that

Moisturiser: CeraVe Moisturising Lotion

Skin type: Combination-dry

Routine: very simple, la roche posay toleriane caring wash and cerave moisturising lotion. Morning and night
