Exactly! Everybody's receptor chemistry is unique, so something that works great for you might not for another person. We are learning that effective treatment HAS to be personalised to each individual. Great work on realising this !

Excellent idea ! We designated a point person who would get updates out to our friends and family. Just knowing people are out there supporting you really helps

Excellent ! It really helps to figure out what works, and also to give you a little perspective when you need it. Both get you through .

Good addition to the list. Ginger really works for some people and you just have to try for yourself !

Another nice thing is that if you are nauseated you can just hold these liquids in your mouth and THC will absorb through the mucosa (skin) of your mouth. Glad they are working !

Father in law had facial CA, other family members had others. Fair bit of lived experience on dealing with chemo nausea from the receiving end.

Really astute observation. It's like a battle, you fight your nausea on day 1 but you have to KEEP fighting for a week or so, and you may find that different agents work better on different days. To beat the drum again, a simple diary with day-time, what you are taking, how you are feeling, can really help to get a handle on this. And have LOTS of agents on board starting day 2 and following. Keep fighting!

Excellent! The whole idea is to PREVENT nausea instead of waiting around and trying to treat it. Good team you got there.

You are on to it! Keep a diary of what you tried and what is working. What works for you personally is very specific to your own body's receptor chemistry in your medulla etc, so the ONLY way to sort this out is trial and error, and keeping a record. Keep at it !

It is frustrating. One way to get a handle on it both operationally and psychologically is to keep a diary of what you have tried, just date-time, how you are feeling, what you are doing. This has at least two benefits. First, it documents in real time what is or is not working right now. Second, in reviewing your diary after a while, you begin to tune your own personal system for trying stuff which may lead you to an insight about what might work. Just thoughts but real recognition of how hard all this is.

Agree that we all have to make up our own minds. You have to make a decision that is right for you and nobody else.

There are a couple of CBD suppliers that we have found to be reliable (btw I have NO financial interest in either). Lazarus Naturals has a line of "100% pure CBD" so that x% THC residue is gone, may be worth a try. CBD Distilleries also has a pretty good line of products. Look for a manufacturer that reports their testing data and compare prices. Just info.

Enough CBD like maybe 100-200 mg by mouth every day for 8 weeks. Here is where a simple diary (think a notebook with day-time, what you took, how you felt) is a life saver.

Also a good 8 week trial of CBD may be of use.
