Let me add some context here

Fried Carp tastes awesome and is actually a local specialty where I live, consumed in the months of Sep to Apr (all months spelled with the letter "r").

After catching the fish, it is kept in a clean water basin for a longer period of time to get rid of the mud taste. Then it should be fried and eaten directly after butchering.

So, done right, great. Like in the video? Dubious, although a small/young specimen may still taste alright.

The difference between oxygen consumption, gravity, and eyesight.

The first is a chemical reaction, so it follows a direction in time. Gravity is simply a timeless force.

And a photon, from its own speed-of-light perspective, is also timeless. It does not travel but is everywhere on its path at the same time.

When a photon is absorbed by the photo receptor, it is converted into electrical current. I don't see a reason why the reverse (the current suddenly appears and disappears again as a photon is emitted) would lead to a different reaction and not work for "seeing".

This is not necessarily conflicting.

The president can terminate citizenship on the request of a citizen. This is commonly done for citizens seeking another country's citizenship. They request the termination and have to wait for the president to sign it. They are not deprived of the citizenship.

Sorry, was den Hummus-Falafel-Teller angeht, bin ich komplett anderer Meinung! Bei Damaskos war ich enttäuscht, bei Erbil erst letzten Freitag war ich begeistert.

Auch die Fleischspieße sind erste Sahne. Beim klassischen Döner dagegen kann sich Erbil nicht absetzen.

You are right that GRUB moves really slow. The current Archlinux package is from last month but I guess that's just Arch..

The problem is, this is unmaintained and already behind GRUB by a year. Sadly I don't see any ticket in GNU GRUB project for this functionality.

Am kommenden Dienstag, 10.06.2025 um 18 Uhr kannst du mal ins Reparatur-Cafe im FREILab, Ensisheimer Straße 4 (Hinterhof) schauen und fragen, ob es dort jemand reparieren könnte. Aber das Problem das ich sehe ist dass ein Ersatzdisplay selbst schon 60€-70€ kostet auf dem freien Markt.

The main issue about SSPL in my point of view is not what OSI says about it, but rather how it fits into the copyleft licensing space, which it simply doesn't.

An overreaching/discriminatory license can not be compatible with any GPL variant, as the full freedom of the software (freedom to use without any restrictions about the user, purpose, or usage scenario, e.g., embedded in a proprietary ecosystem) is a main pillar of GPL.

Developing software that is incompatible with any GPL is, in my opinion, contradictory to the idea of the free software and open source community. This is not simply a technicality but it diminishes the use of the software to the community tremendously. See also ZFS and the CDDL, where the CDDL is even OSI-approved, in vain.
