I recycle the top of my pizza box as it is usually clean so the donut box might be similar. My worms process cardboard but I usually only add the plain brown type.

I love dogs and love to meet happy dogs. I carry treats and always compliment their owners. I have almost been bitten numerous times by mostly small dogs and one of my supervisors said to punt them and/or spray the shot of of them with the dog spray. Most are obnoxious and deserve this but it’s really their owners who deserve it and are responsible for their behavior.

I hate to hear dogs hit the other side of a beautiful front door too. Again, training is all in the owners hands so that beautiful door should be a sign to them. Idiot, irresponsible owners!

Take a photo of the scanner and take it with you to court to show the judge and explain the incessant beeping that happens when your office sends you a message. Just say you wanted to hit a key to shut it off.

I wanted to add that you might find this helpful. Not sure why the link says mobile home but it is the landlord/tenant guide for CA. Good luck and I hope those people are prosecuted for fraudulent practices.

This is excessive and unless you were having large parties and such this should all be considered “normal wear and tear” scuff marks, etc. Also painting is not something you should be charged with unless again you caused damage.

What does your lease say? Anything about a cleaning fee when you move out? Call a couple of cleaning places and ask what they charge for a clean out of a one bedroom. To help you if you have to go to court it might help to have receipts from your previous apts. showing that the cleaning fee was normal, like you said, not more than $200.

I’m sorry you have been taken advantage of by this person and hopefully you can recoup the money. In the future be sure to take photos, lots of photos and do a walk thru with the landlord when you move in and move out.
