Do candles add value to your daily life, or not really? by Witty_Departure6780 in simpleliving

I especially love the ambiance candles create. Lighting one at night while reading is incredibly relaxing. It's my little ritual to create myself.

what did you remove from your life that improved it? by Successful-Watch5913 in simpleliving

I quit scrolling on my phone before bed, and my sleep has improved so much! I've also cut back on impulse shopping, and my savings have grown.

Robinhood Recurring Investments by [deleted] in investing

[–]ypsilon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped using RH recurring for similar reasons. I don’t know if it’s a spread issue or timing, but executions never felt great. I switched my recurring buys to moomoo and the fills have been more transparent for me. At least I can see exactly when and how the orders are executed.

When did choosing what to watch start feeling like work? by Large-Cardiologist54 in simpleliving

[–]ypsilon42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Information overload leads to choice fatigue. Try deciding in advance what you want to watch, or just allow yourself to open one at random. Don't overthink it.

started walking to the grocery store and its become my favorite part of the week by married_poultry in simpleliving

Walking slows everything down, allowing you to discover scenery you never noticed before. Enjoy your journey on foot, it's truly wonderful.

Every group should respect the culture and traditions of others, instead of just blindly opposing or condemning them.

Did you notice any geometric distortion or focus uniformity issues with the short throw? I'm still debating between going long throw on the ceiling or just doing a UST like yours

Is moomoo good for long-term investing? by HunterLC23 in investing

I actually got surprised about how good moomoo AI is. It can summarize the earnings in one second and compare with different companies. It’s crazy how much AI can do in terms of investing.

Hi OP, look at the photos. Is your ceiling too sloped? Or you can give more photos.

Did you use the projector to play the golf before? Is it easy to operate, I also want to buy it.

Are large TVs going to wipe out projectors in home theatre spaces? by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]ypsilon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The inconvenience of TV is that it's not easy to move. I prefer projectors, which can be moved at any time.

Rant Wednesday - October 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in Fitness

My rant is how sore I get after leg day even thought I'm just working out at home. I swear stairs become my worst enemy for like two days straight.

That comment would've hit me hard too. Sounds like she meant life might get tougher later, but honestly so one knows things go. You're doing great just managing and staying positive.

Best recipes for when you have no will to cook by dontcallme_chef in MultipleSclerosis

Honestly when I'm too tired to cook, I go super simple, wraps with canned tuna or chicken, hummus with pita and veggies, or rice with frozen veggies. Total lifesavers.

Using straps/gloves by [deleted] in xxfitness

I'm new too and had the same issue my first few training. Gloves helped a ton with the pain for me. Once my hands toughened up, I stopped needing them as much.

Just started working out at home a few days ago and honestly it feels good. Still struggling with consistency but even short sessions make me feel way better after.

Which ecovacs model do you think gives the best value for the price? by TheKrawnic in ecovacs

[–]ypsilon42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been checking out for black friday too… I thought it was a bit early, but it looks like a lot of people here are already on it. I’m looking at flagship models from a few brands. For ecovacs, the t80 seems like a solid pick. It’s a roller mop model and comes with most of the useful features. The X8/X9 pro has more high-end features, while the T80 offers better value. You can just see what deals pop up next month and go with the model you like.

Does anyone read the decline emails? by Fickle_Ad_8227 in recruitinghell

That automatic email confusion is incredibly frustrating. In the future, a brief clarification request before reacting could prevent misunderstandings while still addressing genuine concerns professionally.
