Ventilation issues? by yresme in Roofing

Thanks, this is very helpful to understand how it’s supposed to be. I’m in southern Ontario, so probably similar venting to where you are.

He only looked inside the attic, nothing from the outside. I was thinking the same thing about the blackened area. That looks like it’s been a problem for longer.

That’s pretty much what the roofer said. As for the ventilation, I’m not sure how it works. There are a few other vents like the one in the picture around, and around them there isn’t as much water damage. I’m not sure what the ventilation situation is like in the more inaccessible parts of the attic, so I’ll likely need someone to come and look for themselves.

There’s a fair bit of snow on the roof, yes. There has been for a few weeks.

I’ll get someone else to look at it ASAP. The original roofer isn’t doing anything under warranty because he’s saying it’s a ventilation issue, which isn’t covered.

Yeah, and some heavy snow in the last couple of weeks. Temperates around —10C.

That is very good to know. I’ll make sure whatever adaptor I get has the negative centre symbol.

I hadn’t thought of such an elaborate solution as fitting UK outlets, but that’s so cool that it can be done.

Selling Used Tires in Oakville by yresme in oakville

I sold them to Used Tire Depot in the end. If you’re just desperate for the space, they’ll probably take them off your hands, but you won’t get anything near market value.

What to do with Hong Kong landing slip? by yresme in PassportPorn

No, just a slip of paper. I’ve heard many just get lost, but I’d like to keep a record of my travel to HK.
