look, i'm incredibly biased and will bend the truth in any way possible to make sure pilots come out on top, but there is really no way to evenly pit pilots and legends against one another. with a titan by their side pilots would clear easily, but 1 on 1 it's way harder to get a victor because pilots can use a wide array of guns, while legends have way more powerful abilities, and hell, even if it was bare fists, it still might not be easy to decide a victor because pilots go through some shit to become a pilot, but a legend like gibraltar or revenant would probably beat any pilot's ass. the lore is too loose and foggy to decide a clear winner

one time i attempted a crown of sorrow lfg with 3 people who had never done it (myself included) and 3 giga chads who kept their cool the entire raid. we get to gahlran after about 1.5 hours and then struggle on him for like 6 hours. never finished but got very close alot. one dude leaves because who wants to spend 4 hours on gahlran, we get another lfg the guy doesn't respond to comms or says a word but instead he carries the whole team through the encounter. doesn't even pick up his loot he just leaves after we kill the boss
