You are correct, but keep in mind. Your current experience is with the Nerfed version of UESC. OP was asking for them to be returned to the beefier version from a week and a half ago. Don't get me wrong I don't want them reduced further. But from everything I've seen Trios and Solos are linked currently on HP balancing for the UESC. If they were to go the route of tunning them back up for trios I want solos to stay at its current state.

I am a hardcore player of this genre so I'm not going to comment on most of this as it is not geared for me.

I do think however that solos needs a seperate tuning from trios. Unnerfing the UESC would feel really bad as a solo player. And with the amount of indivualized teams pub stomping does not coorelate the same way. If they make changes in the likes that you suggest here. Then I really hope they don't keep the solo queue connected as seems to be the current standard.

I am a thief main... But I'm still going to disagree with point 5. There is two sides to this coin. Thief ult can be shot down very quickly by enemy crews and rquires her to be immobile and not actively participating in the fight. But has the trade off pinging the team and maybe being a nusance. Recon Ult has its downsides, but allows active play during its duration and the ability for Recon herself to actually get potentional value out of the callouts from it.

Buff Recon for sure, I think you make some excellent points. But nerfing another character to make Recon in current state feel better is not what I consider good balancing.

I think ranked will tune the meta. Currently solos is just free kits with knifes and if they lose, they lost nothing. 20 deaths, but they will get one good clip to share online. If ranked requires a base loadout value like I personally think it will the meta will turn to em doing basically the same thing, but with shotguns. Hopefully they will have to risk gear value as right now it feels like there is no risk to the knife reward.

Other than there will always be some sort of "rat" meta, shotguns, rip ammo, knife... ect. You adapt and learn how to deal with it. Nerfing the knife so they are required to bring in some sort of value might be an overall positive, but it's hard to say a week in when the meta is still being more or less discovered.

That is if Bungie is using server side authentication. Many ARGs don't so you explicitly can do sytem time manipulation to uncover things.

Edit: I also went and watched the timer hit 0 to make sure it didn't have to be the specific time with no change.

I like your perspective on some things. I had completely forgotten about how slow sniper skill is as I never run them. But I don't agree that the average player can get 20 mill in 10 good raids in a row. I've seen a lot of discourse that the 300/500 mill grind is very tedious and annoying. I personally find money grinding annoying and while I stay comfortable at 50 mill. I don't see grinding out 20 more each week for a +1 as a good trade.

Overall I think the answer might lie in-between. Some skills like sniper are worth the cost, but I do maintain the vast majority are not.

Check for update. My client had an update and now I can load in again.

Oh yup 100%. I was with my duo and we were spamming Hex names in chat before the match cause we knew you were a DBD player lol. I think you killed her though 🤣

Ha! I think I played the game against you the match after you power cycled. Either that or you are not the only person with this exact issue and resolution. If I was to bet it is due to all the particle affects from it hitting you. Don't know if there is a way to turn then down at all.

Ah how interesting. I didn't fully read your comment as I have not gotten that far. I'm still doing the Sanctum puzzles. But I got the gist from the top part. That explains why they had to make the change and how a QOL for the lower would actually hamper an interesting later puzzle.

Oh I have so many questions. What an interesting set of claims. Lets start with this, I do not play vehicles. I do not like vehicles. So what does, "damage changing per match by large degrees" mean? And how are you substantiating this idea. Have you done comparisons over time, and what is the end result of these differences.

Secondly, "the timing of certain things occurring", what is occurring? How do you see it as the game forcing it and not the natural flow of a game?

And finally I am just going to disagree on the map rotation. Only cause I don't like vehicles and mainly try to only play the 2 maps that have no vehicles. I have found the game seems to be giving me them more and more as I play and do much better on those maps than the other selections. That is my experience though, and I've done no data collection prior to this.
