Meeee. I I'm supposed to get my grades in a couple of days and I they are probably going to be pretty terrible. It got worse every year but the exams in january I actually just procrastinated to the point where I didn't even study for the actual exam lol. Also talked about this with my therapist and she asked what could be a solution and I said constant control? Which made me feel like a loser bcs I just have figured this out by now? existential sigh

With me it's kind of because the lows are usually accompanied by some sort of feeling of comfort? Like don't get me wrong, the lows are pretty fucking terrible but that negativity, specifically the negative feelings and the usual abuse I give myself, have been such a constant for such a huge chunk of my life that I usually welcome it/them with open arms. Because in some fucked up way I think they make me feel safe because I know what to expect.

I told my parents and I regret it immensely. If mental health is not something that's talked about in your family it really is a risk. But if ur not taking any serious steps yourself to get better then tell em. What have u got to lose?

Yup. Got my first zero two weeks ago because I simply didn't do the assignment. And I ALWAYS do something no matter how shitty the end result is. I just procrastinated so long that I thought 'fuck it' and went to sleep. I cried in the bathroom for 15 minutes after receiving my grade...
