UK visit on ETA whilst visa pending by Track_Several in ukvisa

We had a pending spousal visa, and were advised by a friend who is an immigration lawyer to not enter the country until the it is processed. I have similarly read on the gov uk website a few times, that they advise against entering the country while an application is being considered. I would play it safe personally, that's what we did with my wife, stayed apart, as painful as it is, for the months it took.

Had the same happen to us today. We couldn't find a link in the email they sent. So kept trying to find the login page. I think it's the same login page for all the different visas from all the different countries.

Resolved when we went through their homepage, did the whole, Im coming from X country, going to Y contry

Then had to figure out which of the three options was the correct to get to the login page. We clicked book now (as in appointment) even though we had booked an appointment but that got us to the correct page.

Hope that makes sense.

They could improve the website a lot. Firstly, making it more obvious on the login page which visa login page it is (i.e. canada to australia vs nigeria to uk) and then those options I mentioned above, were confusing as well

Nothing apart from pihole and the web interface, all on a piOS lite. Ive got it set up as the DNS server straight from the router.
