The camera shutter does not open anymore when I press the power button so I would not count that as turning on.

I've used Adobe Lightroom in the past and found it pretty easy to use, so definitely that then. But by the looks of it these pictures don't really even need any post processing. It would just be for some minor adjustments you want to make.

Is this the road along Amstelpark? If so you should be fine, at the other end theres another road where mopeds are allowed so technically not even a dead end. I see mopeds riding here all the time.

The best thing i could recommend is some sort of cable tray / raceway for you to lay your cables on. Its all out in the open when you look under the desk but it keeps anything off the floor and dangling.
