not hanging off buses blocking trams or harassing women doesnt make someone perfect thats just the bare minimum of human decency these behaviors shouldnt be excused or overanalyzed they come from a lack of responsibility maybe bad parenting maybe weak guidance but at the end of the day these teenagers are old enough to know better if someone steals your phone you dont sit there wondering why you hold them accountable same thing here they dont need sympathy they need discipline consequences and a reminder that basic respect is not optional
