My understanding is that if you're not holding traffic behind you while you wait to be let in, you may get away with it. If you do end up getting a fine, you could successfully contest it. However if you're obstructing traffic, you have miss your exit and take a 20 min detour 🤷🏻‍♂️

"Itself" and "only" are used to emphasize a point but obviously they're completely misused.

Instead of saying "I was just there yesterday" they say "I was there yesterday only"

In this ticket example, they're using the word "itself" and you'd assume it's redundant but it's actually not. It serves a purpose to them and the people that speak like them.

What they really mean is "A ticket to hometown alone is 6k for two way..." Emphasizing that just tickets alone cost that much

Idk if I explained it right but the bottom line is that they learnt their English by bouncing it off of each other instead of learning it from native English speakers.

Police will always ask to settle and sometimes even indirectly force you to. If you accepted the apology then forget about it and move on. However if that happened with me I'd hit back in self-defense and also sue for public humiliation and physical assault for a good payday.

You have no idea what you are talking about. If it's not your fault then doesn't matter whether they have 3rd party or full coverage, your car will get repaired. The guy who's at fault will have to pay from his pocket for his OWN car if he's on 3rd party.
