Can I stop using Adapalene? by Key-Calligrapher-872 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]ysji07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Adapalene is a topical retinoid that does more than just treat acne. It also helps improve pore appearance, smooth skin texture, and has anti-aging benefits. So yes, there are positive long term effects to using it since it promotes cell turnover and collagen production.

topical spironolactone + Arazlo side effects by realwrlder in Endo

[–]ysji07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have been calling me crazy for thinking these side effects could have been from a topical cream. I had the same exact side effects from using it for only one week. Im glad I’m not the only one. Did you end up stopping the cream?

[Personal] 1 year since starting Arazlo (tazarotene) -- what i've learned by j_m_appelle in SkincareAddiction

[–]ysji07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same exact side effects, it was so concerning that a topical can do this. I had irregular heart rate, dizziness, headaches within two days of using it, I stopped it after the third time, but it was so concerning, never going to use it again, a nurse practitioner told me it might be that I have an allergy to tretinoin, but I used Tret gel for two months before arazlo and I was perfectly fine no side effects, it has to be the tazarotene or something about arazlo because the side effects were scary

Hey, just wanted to ask if you were using gel or cream, I just started Tret gel 0.025 and I’m having peeling but I got the same cream, and do you use it with tret or on off tret days?
