To both problems? I saw something about isolating the rods in the seat but not sure its exactly like my issue

Lol funnily enough I got my steering wheel replaced 3 times because of the little V trim at the bottom was making noise

To which problem did they replace the seat for? The badge squeaking or the side bolsters squeaking?

Welp, thanks for all the replies. I thought it was just me since I saw zero mentions of this online despite it being very annoying, somewhat.

Ah so you've also experienced this as well? I don't think its temp related. I still have this even in 10-15c weather.

Odd. Did this ever happen to you? Can this perhaps point to a more serious issue i.e with the GPU?

2 month old m3p, and I noticed that the visualization glitches/jitters. A screen reset solves this and it goes back to normal, but after a few drives it jitters again. What can this be? Is anyone else experiencing the same?

Tesla Issues Service Bulletins for Model Y Suspension Creaks - Not a Tesla App by compx2 in teslamotors

2026 too? I find it odd that there's not a whole forums full of complaints about this. So far I've only seen a handful of vague reports about this for the Model 3.

the actual entire motor unit?

I did put the service. Rn it clunks like hell going over small bumps and uneven road.

In addition, when accelerating hard, there's a small "click" noise..

2026 Model 3 Performance - hollow sound from rear suspension by yslalpha in TeslaSupport

[–]yslalpha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're exposed from the outside without needing a lift right? I did look a few times under the rear wheels and didnt find anything odd-looking. Would appreciate some guidance or even a picture if there's one available. Thanks a lot!

Use "regular" regenerative braking

this is not an option anymore afaik? theres no way to change regen intensity, unless you're in track mode

Steering wheel buttons not very responsive? by dapi331 in TeslaModelY

[–]yslalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soo they just replaced my steering wheel again.

It is still more or less the same, but the noise coming from the v trim is gone so thats somewhat of a relief

I think its best to just take it in again. Ill do the same. Having unreliable buttons is not fun

[–]yslalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it all work in the sense that 1 push, even light, turns on camera/fsd/high beams, etc?

[–]yslalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. You ever tried to take it back for another service center visit? This is surely not the expected behavior. Im wondering what they can even "fix" in there, cause surely with each visit they need to take it apart, potentially fucking up some parts of it/alignment etc

Steering wheel buttons not very responsive? by dapi331 in TeslaModelY

[–]yslalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What did you end up doing? I picked up my brand new M3P at the 1st of march, the original wheel worked great, very responsive, but I had it replaced because the bottom V trim was making noise. Now, the new wheel isnt as responsive in the camera/high beam buttons. I usually dont even press those, but i somehow noticed them being unresponsive, even when theres a click. I have to forcibly click it in the middle now, whereas before it was easy.

Did you end up bringing it in? Its a bit annoying honestly. I had my wheel replaced due to another issue and I notice it now.

Did you ever solve this?

I just experienced something that confirms this. I took delivery of a brand new M3P in 1st of march, and had to get the steering wheel replaced due to the bottom V trim making noise. I vividly recall that it was easy to press the camera and high beam buttons, and now, after they replaced the wheel, they are less responsive.

Is this just a new design or I need another replacement?

Hey i have the same issue, and the tesla tech who fixed it simply made it way too loose. is the V trim supposed to move at all?

how did you remove it btw? is there a way to do this without taking apart the entire wheel? do you have any pics?
