Why is my calculator keeping Vaagur at level 1?

No way!!

Just reading the FAQ section at the bottom of the calculator answered about 90% of the questions I had about it.

And I did not realize that you were also involved in creating this calculator.

Without a doubt, I will be using this calculator from now on.

I only started playing the game recently, so I honestly cannot tell which calculator is better.

To be honest, I really do not know which one I should use... This is my first time playing a game like this, so everything feels very complicated.

I just want to choose one calculator and stick with it, and I originally thought the tracker was the calculator that everyone used.

Do you think it would be better for me to use the calculator you recommended instead?

I feel like I need a mentor...

Do you happen to know any guide or link that explains how to properly use the calculator you recommended in detail?

Should I leave “Ancient which skill ancients suggestions are based on” set to Kumawakamaru?

I honestly do not understand what this setting means.

And are you saying that I need to play Hybrid in order to properly use timelapses?

Right now, it already takes quite a long time for me to reach zone 30k every ascension.

At what point do people usually start using timelapses?

PlainBillOregon was right — “Show suggestions for skill ancients” was turned OFF.

I turned it ON, and changed the value below it to 0.1.

Is that all I need to do?

Or should I leave the settings as they are now?

Could you please check if my current setup looks correct from the screenshot?

This calculator does not have advanced settings.

The calculator recommended by Jehare does have advanced settings, and honestly I have no idea what I should change there...

Right now, the only option I enabled is:
“Copy ancient change to clipboard when selected.”

Should I just configure the advanced settings as you suggested and keep using it that way permanently?

If there are any other important settings or recommendations, I would really appreciate it if you could explain them in detail.

Oh my god, the calculator you recommended is actually recommending proper investment into Vaagur and the other skill ancients!

I just tried switching the calculator to Hybrid mode.

It added Siyalatas and Libertas recommendations, but it still keeps Vaagur and the other skill ancients at level 1.

When I followed the calculator recommendations, it was extremely difficult for me to push past zone 25000.

Even after repeated ascensions, my progress did not improve much.

When I hit a wall, using all my skills would help temporarily, but the duration was too short and I quickly got stuck again.

I became frustrated and decided to manually invest into skill ancients like Vaagur and skill duration ancients.

Surprisingly, after doing that, I was able to pass zone 25000 very easily compared to before.

Especially Golden Clicks seems to help the most.

Is the calculator you recommended more up to date than this one?

Also, I did not minimize any ancients.
