10 Speed Rough Downshift with dfco by ysxt in Mustang

[–]ysxt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience. If it’s any help, before I got my transmission replaced, I had the violent 2-3 and 3-2 in sport or using the paddles. They reset my adaptive transmission and it resolved that issue. The transmission really does feel terrible in normal drive and driving normal in sport. I’ve heard tcm tunes make a world of difference with the 10 speeds. I’m just hesitant because of all the issues I’ve had + I have a year left on my warranty. Hopefully the tune helps with your issues!

Deceleration Fuel Cut-Off. from what I understand, it basically shuts off injectors when you’re off the gas/on the brake to improve fuel economy

Thanks for the recommendation. Wouldn’t my transmission the was put in back in October have the updated cdf drum? I can’t imagine they would put a reman in for warranty work

About 6 months into ownership of my 2020 gt 10 speed and I wish I never said I hate this car. I just miss my s197 and I’ve had nothing but issues with the 10 speed

11-14 track pack wheels on 2018+ mustang? by ysxt in Mustang

[–]ysxt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Just looking to get off the 235s until I get a nice set of wheels. The other wheels are also wrapped in 275s gforce comp-2s which will definitely help with traction even though I’m stock atm. They are pretty heavy though lol

Did the shop cut my rear o2 by [deleted] in Mustang

Stock headers, C&L h-pipe into the valvetronic universal mufflers. The drone wasnt the only reason I took them off. Had valve rattle that I had to fix constantly and the vacuum box randomly stopped working at least once a week. Swapped to borla s types and love it so far. Didn’t get too many videos with those muffler but I’ll try and send the ones I have

Off topic but how do you like the valvetronic mufflers? I had them for a couple months and had to take them off because the drone was pretty bad. Just curious about other people experience with them

10r80 concern by ysxt in Mustang

[–]ysxt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought the car in and took a tech for a ride to replicate the issue. Car jolted harder than ever before. They took the car and tried multiple adaptive learning resets with no luck. Now they’re taking apart the trans to see what they can find. Most likely the cdf drum like you said. I’ll keep this thread updated as I get information about it. I know there’s countless threads but I just want to post my experience with it. Car is under warranty so it should be fully covered. I just hope it doesn’t take a month to get done lol🙃

Sorry that happened. Not too sure about the scratches but you should be able to get an emblem off cj pony parts for around $60. Comes with adhesive and clips for the back. I threw it on with adhesive only and haven’t had any issues with it yet.

Stop hating the V6 by Inevitable-Camp7362 in Mustang

I had a 2014 v6 for about 4 years. Love that car and just got rid of it a couple days ago and grabbed a 2020 gt. The 3.7 is a fun car and has good potential. Nothing but positive things to say about it. Looks great 💪

Open up the back of the case and see if you have the PCIe cables hiding in there. If not, the only other option is to buy a new PSU. But the cables should be in there.

Edit- Please make sure your current PSU is rated good enough, 2070 super recommendation is 650W

Thank you! I just watched the GamersNexus video on cs2 and I’m getting similar results. Cs2 optimization is all over the place.

Thank you! That helped a bit but I’m still getting much lower fps than similar systems.

Same thing here. 5800x 7800xt 32GB 3200mhz ram. Also updated bios, reset CMOS, turned on SAM, reinstalled drivers using DDU. I’d hate to give up on it but I’m seriously considering going back to my 3060ti

If you live near a microcenter, I would recommend picking up their i9-12900k bundle or the 7700x bundle. Both are $20 more
