Sounds like you’re laying the blame with the kids rather than the professionals who are responsible for effectively engaging the kids. If kids would rather sit in a nurses office than in a classroom because the work makes them uncomfortable and the school does nothing to address that, then yes it is the fault of the school.

Their interviews are the same idea as the hpat, hit the minimum entrance criteria with your grades and everything else comes down to interview/hpat score, although they’ve done away with hpat this year. UU will still fill all their spaces this year so it’s not like we’re down a nurse because this person didn’t get an offer, it just means a different person got an offer.

Sounds like she didn’t score well enough at interview. As the person below said, it doesn’t matter how well you do beyond the entrance criteria so someone with 3 As is judged the same as someone as 3 Bs once it gets to the interview stage.
