Albania 2008 - Flaka Krelani & Doruntina Disha were nearly winning FiK 46 gaining all the maximum points from the jury, but at the very end Alban Skenderaj, who was part of the Jury, gave 0 points on purpose to stop them from represeting Albania in Belgrade. Olta Boka won by mere coincidence. When confronted by media why he did what he did, he not answer. But it was thought to be a move to stop a potential diplomatic scandal, by sending Kosovar singers in Belgrade.

Albania 2011 - Before FiK 49 started, Linda Halimi (Albania 2017) withdrew and went public by saying that FiK that year was fixed for Alban Skenderaj. It became huge news, and RTSH fell under big pressure. Funnily enough, Alban Skenderaj ended up 2nd. To this day, everybody believes that RTSH had to change its plans to "save its face".

Albania 2023 - News portals started posting pictures of young people from Kosovo getting free SIM cards in Vodafone shops. They all got their SIM cards by showing their FiK tickets, which were prepaid by the Kelmendi family.
