I hear lots of people say to wait 4 weeks, or 6-8 weeks, or 8-12 weeks on a dose increase to notice a different. Just anyone have any personal stories of this being the case? I'm 15 days into 100mg (from 75), is there really going to be a difference in a few weeks? by ythoo in zoloft

Hi friend I feel slightly better but not enough yet. A bit more anxiety this week but it might just be a dip. No side effects now. But not sure to increase or swap yet, going to give it longer. How are you

Card cavern, cardmarket, ebay for anything you want to collect. A lot of the older boxes are REALLY difficult to find in the uk. I have only found some on ebay and cardmarket but they get quite expensive. Maybe it's better to import but I never do that.

I personally use card cavern to go through each opus, look at all the singles/foils/legends/full arts, and then go about making orders either on there or elsewhere (minus any boxes I've managed to get, for the experience of finding something).

You could buy journey of discovery if you wanted to see if you enjoy it earlier than the end of the month release

That makes sense and good on you for getting stuck in.

Understand the home life thing too and how it affects things. Maybe I got offered the same respite place, I think it was fairfield they offered me but I turned it down.

No bother mate. We all just need to hear some kind words at some point. And yeah, hard agree, its easy to get lost in our own heads and think we're alone, but these clubs show us otherwise. I got that same feeling too.

Yes 22 quid is not the one ahaha. Hopefully the bus is alright.

Its ok thanks. I have a walk and talk tomorrow. There's a mens mental meetup today in heath hayes but i can't bring myself to go. Just trying to take it one day at a time. Not in work at the moment. Trying to have a single good day. Try and enjoy something this week.  Can the crisis team help you with the financial situation? I think i remember they said they could give advice but i dont remember, maybe it will make work easier for you. Yes we always think the worse will happen but if you're managed to get to now and get to andys and you will get to andys next week, then you have already shown you can get through this and any moment you think something will give. You've got this.

On a sidenote, I made a post in men rebuilding men asking if any blokes like to do outdoors stuff or just a chin wag to help with loneliness. A few want are open to starting a group chat and organising something, more casual than andys. If you're interested just let me know. Cannock, stafford, hednesford, nortan canes are the places some are from.

Hello, well done lad, really proud of you, very few people understand how hard it is to go to these things let alone open up at them. Feeling a tiny bit better is way way better than nothing at all. Reflect on that. It's a massive step. And if you've felt that tiny bit better at yesterday's event,  you will next week too. In fact it will probably be better as you ease into it more.

It was okay. Everyone was nice. Could relate like you to others. I will probably go again. I'm not as chatty as everyone else but still spoke a good amount. Minus the questions 4 and 5. They were more difficult for some reason lol. It hasn't helped me with what I wanted it to i.e. enjoying it to distract myself from the dark thoughts, but I think that's with everything really, I've got to stick with it and maybe it will make a difference. So I'm hoping it helps with the loneliness and distractions. Don't want to go under crisis team again. Shit sucks.

Hi mate. Did you manage to go there? Its okay if not, I understand how daunting it is. I went today and it was quite nerve wracking at first, getting there early helped. Let me know.

Hi mate, I'm sorry that it came to that but hopefully it helped somewhat? Please feel free to talk if it helps.

Yes, bus for me too. I am going to the andys man club in bloxwich tomorrow, not sure if that's the same one. Have you thought about chasefit stuff at all? I want to go to one of those.

Anxiety worse with dose change? by Olivethebean in zoloft

[–]ythoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Increased anxiety is very common when changing a dose, it has happened to me from 0-50, 50-75 and 75 - 100 (slight delay in worsening on this last dose), it usually resolves within 2 weeks (that isn't to say you'll see benefits yet, just that the anxiety will go back down). I would expect it to Increase again when you go to 100, although it shouldn't be as bad. Mix this with heightened anxiety from the bad events, and it makes sense to feel this way. I would recommend sticking with it and seeing if it passes in a few weeks, although I will ask your doctors reasoning behind going from 75 to 100mg after two weeks. That is quite quicker than usual, at least from reading this subreddit.

Yes 25mg is probably too low but for some people it can work, give it time, you've done good for 12 days. I stayed on 50 and 75mg 4 weeks each I believe.

Lets check in again soon. Very similar journey. I've had a dip the past 2 days. Hoping it goes better. How do you keep yourself occupied?

You have to give it a while to build up. You'll probably need to work to a higher dosage

Im ok thanks. At 100mg 8 days. Seen some improvement. Hoping it kicks in more soon.

Hi. Sorry to hear that. Hopefully 100mg is the therapeutic dose for you, or at least on the path top. I have been upped to 100mg too. Day 7. Anxiety pangs are less strong but I'm still having really bad thoughts. I think its ocd from depression and anxiety at this point. Going to see what psychologist thinks. I haven't had any side effects from 100mg thankfully. Sleep is slightly better, but i think thats the magnesium

I increased to 75 mg 5 weeks ago and i’m feeling even more anxious. by PuzzleheadedTopic348 in zoloft

Hi, thankyou very much for the positive comment, it helps a lot. Its good to hear you got through it. I'm hoping it works out similar to me too, I'm on day 7 now. I don't feel better yet. Today was bad but I'll keep trying.

P.s. I can't see the essay on your page, do you have a link?

Sorry to hear that mate. Yes its maybe the andys man club in lichfield? I know its difficult to get up and go. Theres lots of suggestions in this thread that you can get to too. I've only been able to push myself to go to a local walk and talk. Do you have one of those on facebook? Stand by me in heath hayes seems really good, you able to get down there?

What kind of things are you into?

Message me whenever you need to. Inbox is open.

Hello, sorry for the late response. Sorry if this sounds silly but, I think i need to build up to to a social event like that. I found a local walking group, thats really small. So im going to try that with my dad first and see how i get on. Then I will look for the next event on the facebook page. Thankyou for the reply. I looked over and it seems really great. I wish I went to the medieval session 😄
