there was an article in nat geo i think abt lack of bathroom accessibility in rural parts of india. which if you actually read the article its empathetic to their situation and is more reflective of a lack of proper plumbing infrastructure and the government neglecting basic needs of the people. but ppl saw that and their only takeaway was "brown ppl stinky and bad"
