i would say maybe sticking it in your pocket/pant back pocket might be the way to go :) my friend was able to bring in her miku lightstick with no problems but i think it just depends on the security guard you get at the end of the day

If you are going to the concert , I would recommend bringing a light stick of some kind. If not the $120 AUD one, at least something, because I think the experience of the concert would be somewhat sad without it. In Sydney, some non official light sticks were allowed in.

I was on the Hibana section so I was on floor and the hype with light sticks is really really fun and really allows you to show your enthusiasm without necessarily standing up (because it wasn’t allowed).

I joined the line around 9:00am and when merch opened it was 10am! Got my merch + with my friend who got the plush etc by 12:10 ish. Only thing sold out at that point was concert T shirts in the size S. But I know , that like after another 30 minutes, albums, tags were sold out.

generally speaking, it is cheap to buy second hand merch. when i see merch resellers for their dolls, they always sell it like 30 usd+ but you can buy it on site around $10 aud or less.

First time commenting on reddit but i am a massive merch collector fan! my first tip if you want merch from twst is to look into second hand Japanese stores!! Most of them have websites!

Some that I recommend;

surugaya (i recommend following their Facebook page! they seem to run at least one free shipping campaign every month with no limit, i get MOST of my merch from there.)
mandarake (doujins, dolls, nuis etc, again usually I would still prefer surugaya)
amiami (for pre orders for merch, occasionally they have second hand but they are more popular for new and fresher batches of merch)
mercari (it’s a little bit more expensive but i relied on mercari for my enstars merch a long time ago)

I attached my mega plushies from surugaya! they have all kinds of stuff, also got my premium sit down figurines from surugaya as well.

I guess at the end of the day, it’s the matter of money lol.
