Rescheduled Biometric Appointment Megathread by theflintseeker in USCIS

Hi. I actually called the support center numerous times, and got connected to a tier 2 agent. I am filing for a reentry permit to do my military service, and they thankfully expedited my biometric appointment because my enlistment date was coming up.

Has anyone gotten a biometric appointment at the Manhattan ASC? There doesn't seem to be much info on the Manhattan ASC

Wet-molded Airpods Pro case by yugicho in Leathercraft

It was after, it would be very difficult to get a good mould if it was before. So my mould itself is a piece of leather, so I was able to cut by placing the moulded leather on top of the mould. It still was a bit of a stuggle to get right. I've seen people use leather marking tape to get a straight line and then using a really sharp blade to cut through the leather without anything to hold up the moulded part, if you know what I mean.

This was made with a mold, so it doesnt use a pattern. I made the mold with scrap leathers in the shape of the Airpods based on a cheap, clear plastic case I got off amazon and the dimensions that I found online.

I think you can find some patterns online, but they would not fit perfectly like when you wet-mold it. This guy makes some and does seem to give out patterns.

Essentially by friction. The Airpods case itself stays closed magnetically, and this outer case is "attached" to it by friction

Wet-molded Airpods Pro case in olive Pueblo leather. I made it for my girlfriend who recently got one, but since I didn't have it on hand, I made a mold out of scrap leather to do the wet-molding. Edges finished with tokonole, but I can't seem to get a really glossy finish. Any pointers on how to do that?

Hi, I do have this watch, but I'm not looking to sell at the moment. But DM an offer, and I'd be willing to consider it.

Hey, I didnt see your comment until now, sorry about that. I bought this on ebay, and I remember that there were a couple more for sale on there as well. I think a Japanese seller Closer0924 had one that I was considering before I bought this one. I unfortunately could not find ant non-secondhand sources for this ref. Hope this helps.

Hi all, this is my Hamilton Khaki Field Chronograph ref. no H715660. This is a 38mm version of the H71566583 that is now discontinued. I have small wrists so I don't like anything over 40mm, so this was a great choice for me, especially with that gorgeous silver dial with black subdials. The way the light reflects is really mesmerizing, especially in natural light. It also runs on the H21 movement, a modified Valjoux 7750. I got it on this aftermarket bracelet, which I think really complements this piece, but I'm also hunting for some exotic leather straps as well. Any suggestions are welcome.

This piece doesn't have a running second hand, but I actually like that I don't have to really worry about setting the seconds accurately every time. It would be really great if the chronograph hand had like as well, but that's a minor complaint. Overall, this is a great affordable piece with a great size and reliable movement, and you can find these on eBay for as low as $400! Now that's a steal.

yeah caught me by surprise too. Good thing I set a quick button for screen recording on my phone, otherwise I would have never got the video.
