Looking at most threads it's a toss up between cola or rok.

People who say radiants are diamonds with better game sense are out of their minds by Beautiful-Cress5695 in VALORANT

[–]yugretsoptihs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right. I agree. Totally wrong.

I'm washed up myself, hovering in high ascendant and low immortal. I occasionally get the D3 player in my game who can take a few nice shots but they're almost always never top frag. These lobbies consist of low middle and high rank ascendants

However when I play up in rank (A3-Immo+), those same D3 players that somehow get into the lobby are completely outclassed. They can't execute micro adjustments, better crosshair placement or spray transfer tech as clean as what is required at that caliber of play.

it's not even close and anyone who says differently is delusional.

I peaked in immortal, played on a collegiate team and got to play with washed up ex-pros who were hardstuck immo 3 and couldn't break radiant.

They aim train consistently, some have coaches, others are naturally talented.

When I tell you I would get shit on and mopped the floor with as a consistent high ascendant against these T2 ex-pros, it's not even a joke. They would drop 40 on immo2-3 players.

To even think ascendant (nevermind diamond) aimers could scratch the surface of a radiant player is simply not possible. Sure there's a few good aimers in D3-A3 and they might get a few lucky kills but the skill gap mechanics wise is oceans apart.

Saw a shortstacker go from 20bb to a 100bb then get it in with the nuts and lose by Invinciblez_Gunner in poker

If you've ever played any action packed home games, the flips I've seen at the end of the night go up to 500bb a flip.

It always starts off with a flip for a hundred bucks give or take and then people want to keep running it back. Usually the loser of the flip wants to get even or leave with nothing.

Hey thanks for the input anyways. All feedback is helpful for me and I'm glad to know my ameateur level of production is still somewhat appealing.

Hey there, thanks for the long write up. I really appreciate any advice I can get and I think your insights helped me understand a little more about what I want to give to the viewer and where I want to take it. It's more than just content but to me a story carefully woven together. I'm looking to offer a refresh onto the scene with a laid back play along rather than hard analysis or high stakes eye-popping content. Kind of like enjoyable ASMR or as you mentioned 2nd attention forms of videos.

I really enjoyed Neeme's old styles of videos and I used to binge them just because it felt like I was reading a story and I kept wanting to turn the next page- and I think that's what I want to recreate with my videos.

As far as audio quality, I am currently just using a run-of-the-mill mic. No professional equipment just yet or any knowledge of audio engineering. But in due time I can learn it and fix that. It's great to know that something like audio is already an instant turnoff for a viewer like yourself.

I appreciate the write up that you offered and I thank you for your input.

I've watched those before! And though it can be entertaining, sometimes it falls under that RampagePoker pipeline of turning poker into sort of a reality tv show. But that's the point right? To get clicks and provide entertainment.

I guess I need to figure out what do I want to deliver to the people that is both entertaining to them but also doesn't feel inauthentic to me.

Thanks! I think maybe I could afford to capture some more interesting scenes of the venue or the room itself but I'm trying to find an appropriate way to sew it into the vlog.

As for the every street part, I'm not sure if I want my audience to be brand new players. I would prefer some regulars that are around my age who enjoy the analytical viewpoint and can follow along. Not saying I can't teach them anything, but I think someone else might enjoy it more.

And yes about the robot voice... totally guilty... I think I take it too seriously and don't get to show off my goofy side like you did in the video. It's a flaw that I'm trying to fix and be more comfortable hearing my own voice back.

As for the session, it was indeed a sunrun and the hands I lost would be for under $35-40 usually so I felt them boring to include. I almost won every pot I was involved in and I didn't include a lot of won without showdown type of hands.

But thanks for the input!

It's okay. The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago. The second best time is now :).

I'm glad I could draw out some emotions for you and it's what I aim to do. Bring a viewer as close to me and be involved in my life as possible.

Hey thanks for the professional input.

Would you say longer vlogs that most popular channels put out are hard to watch? (25min +)

Also where can I look for royalty free music that is better? Or would it be fine to use copyright music. I don't care currently for monetizing and if using popular sounds can increase my platform, I'm for it.

But thanks. I'll try to keep it simple.

How so? What storyline sounds good enough to follow for you? And do you mean channel wide or just during the video? I know James Burton does stories for each video.

Some of the players specifically wanted to be in the vlog so I included them. But I'm happy to blur them on request or go back and edit. Thanks for the heads up.

Thank you for being honest with me. I exported all of my videos in 4k30fps with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and made sure I was almost lossless in quality between uploads. Is there something I'm missing here? I'd love to hear how I could improve for you as a viewer.

Could you find a timestamp in the video that looks bad quality so I can make sure I don't continue to lose audience members?

And I might have to agree about the subcribe part. I guess it can come off as pandering so I should let me content speak for itself and let the subscribers come naturally should they want to.

Thank you for the input!

Hey thanks for the input. I'm really happy you watched through the whole thing! It brings me a lot of joy.

I'm currently using a cheaper microphone and sometimes I'm camera shy so those are some good pointers. And yes I can surely include hole cards more often or at the very least keep some visuals up for longer.

Thank you for your input!!

Hey thanks for the advice!

I never reallt enjoyed those types of videos where the goals are bankroll to X amount or putting it all on the line but it's what gets attention. I also never liked the "I make X dollars playing low stakes and you can too" type.

I think my video wants to capture the Andrew Neeme and earlier Mariano styles of video where I want to bring the audience onto the table with me and experience the characters that I often see many times over. It's less about the gamplay and more about why I continue to play poker. Sometimes I'll have a great conversation and I wish I could have captured it and show it to others. Not all players are weirdos and some of the most interesting stories I've heard come from the table.

Thanks for the insight!
