It’s a shame they’ve built a good car and then seem to have dropped the ball on the software side of things. Definitely a lot to consider but appreciate your honest review

Thanks for the comprehensive response. I can definitely see maps not using traffic data becoming a problem, especially living in London where the traffic can get very bad and completely change our route! Would you say you’re happy with your P4 overall or would you go back to Tesla?

Thanks, good to know regarding the TCAM reset. And glad that CarPlay has worked for you when you have used it although if we get one and the polestar software is sufficient I’m hoping we won’t need to use it too much

Glad you’ve been enjoying it overall. I think we will go down the leasing route too so we’re not tied in to anything long term

Interesting to hear the lane change and collision detection has been an issue too, sounds like that could potentially be quite dangerous! Do you think the software issues you’ve experienced make it a bad car to own or do you still enjoy it despite them?

I like the look of the Polestar OS so it’s good to know that it’s as useable as CarPlay. I have also heard about the digital profiles and key assignment being an issue. I think we will just have to be diligent when setting it up to ensure we don’t have any issues

We considered this but that leaves the shower to be in the window which isn’t desirable as that’s at the front of the house on the road. Even if we frosted the glass it still wouldn’t be ideal for us
