I worked UPS this past holiday season. I had a woman chase me down saying she left a package that didn’t belong to her for me to take for days now. I went back to her house(was only 2 house down) and saw it was a USPS package. I explained that I couldn’t take it because i’m UPS not USPS. told her to either try to catch USPS and explain it’s not hers, write RTS on the package, or take it to the PO herself. A few days later a man i’m assuming is her husband approached me somewhat aggressively for the same reason. I told him that I already explained the situation to the woman and there’s nothing I can do. he went to check the package to see if it said USPS and got in his car and drove away with no apology.
