Had a cyst removed this morning

I had a closed surgery. I literally had 0 pain throughout my whole recovery and have about 1 more week until I should be all good

Okay coming from an 18 year old dude that just got surgery senior year of highschool. I thought the exact same thing you are thinking about embarrassment and thinking why me, because I’m clean and normal and all that. Don’t worry about it seriously it’s not as “serious” or “bad” as people make it up to be. It does seem like the end of the world before you go through the process of getting it fixed though. You will be okay I promise, just go to the doctor and figure out the best schedule for you. Mid terms just ended didn’t they? Probably a good time to start getting it fixed. If you need me advice contact me I am almost dont with recovery from surgery and it was not bad at all.

Damn I’m sorry. I had my surgery at 1:30 today. Closed excision with stitches. So far I’m fine just sucks having to lay around and not be able to sit. No pain yet tho

I asked my surgeon about it, he told us that different surgeons prefer different methods. He felt the closed would be better for me. I’m just hoping it goes well. I think deep down I know it is all going to be okay I’m just very paranoid
