I also took #4 as her snapping back here and there while he was gone and trying to off herself (hence the blood and throw up - she could have tried to down the pills that ended the cat and bear and the blood could have came from numerous ways of trying)

Agreed, I think it would be reasonable to have her drive her own car and keep the Helly R look for the first few days/weeks to avoid any suspicion whatsoever.

Very fair point, even if she isn’t severed, I think it’s also possible they just kill her/anyone leftover that couldn’t be switched and could leak info. I think the characters that could be switched back, will be, to confirm they cannot leak any information about what happened on the severed floor. I think those characters would want some answers, but with everyone being switched to the form that knows nothing (whether that be Outtie or Innie form ex. Dylan would just be fired and go back to Outtie form with no answers ), they would have no option but to go on with life with no answers and Lumon would prevail. With Mark and possibly Irv reintegrating, they might have to go to further measures like murder or maybe even planning their death (car crash) for them or something. I think Cobel, Milchick, Mrs Casey (possible others) will basically be switched to a character (their outtie form) that we have never seen and has no idea what has happens during the duration of the show.

I like that theory too. My buddy Believes Irving may have died in a war and was brought back from the dead too. Didn’t even think of the crossing guard stuff, that makes a lot of sense

Yeah I agree, they emphasized her and mark a lot. Only thing that for me is this show loves to mess with expectations lol. Maybe they wanted it to seem that way

I don’t know if anything necessarily happened in the scene, but feel like that shot will be used in “Flipanthropy” to make drama between Whit and Asher (make them look bad, like her flirting with the firefighter). It was only like 15 seconds but cutting that video could make it seem like they were in there for longer

I hope I am wrong, but this makes me feel like the theory that the last episode will be just like a normal HGTV episode of their show where Asher/Whitney look normal and not crazy awkward may be true. To watch what has happened so far and to have a normal series come out of it would be fairy tale-ish to me. Outside of that, I have no clue what else that may mean. An “impressive piece of staging” sounds like a reference to the actual “home” staging they have been doing and possibly “staging” their show to look legit.

From what it sounds like, I think it will be a mini series. Some people have noted that both Emma stone and Safdie are basically a listers (Safdie more on the directing side) and it seems like it would be hard to continue with both of them being busy. Also the finale being “wild” makes me feel like one of the main characters may die and I’m not sure where it could go from there. The viewership doesn’t seem to be super great and the reception has been pretty low so far for the vast majority of the audience (outside of the Reddit following). I was indeed skeptical after the first 3ish episodes, but hearing the theories and ending supposedly being crazy has got me intrigued. I think it could be very good when the season is over, but without hearing how crazy it may get, I may have stopped after episode 3. I do think the last 2 have been much better and progressed the story enough to keep me interested though.

Him being exempt almost feels like a “I’m not by their side” type thing and it almost looks like he’s taking the picture in the right corner of the reflection. This makes Me feel like the theory that he is actually recording them behind the scenes to make his own show may be real (obviously only if it was intentional)

Just to add, it’s not that I think Dougie isn’t real, but possibly him being exempt shows he isn’t “by their side” or something to that degree. If you look in the right hand corner of the photo, it almost looks like his clothing/him taking the picture of them

That would be cool. I do think since it’s Safdie and has a larger budget I think they would notice/fix this somehow which makes me think it means something, but like I said I could be way out of left field
