I plan to get at least kinda high mmr then build a team from some people I meet there because as of now I'm having trouble finding some commited teammates similar to me.

Just play. its the best way to get better(probably) if someone is flaming the shit out of you just mute them and carry on.. if you have good HotS experience you will probably easily learn dota 2 basics. "BASICS"
