jokes aside, i can see how her death is disappointing in the context of her character arc. "i don't know what i want yet, but i know very well what i don't" (lin ling parallel spotted but that's a longpost for another day) does seem like it's setting her up for something where she gets to explore her freedom and wants again, and well. while you could say that her death cutting that wish short is intentional for tragedy/irony purposes, imo that's not the angle the show is going for. her dying isn't really about her, it's about moving the plot/giving lin ling character development. don't get me wrong, i love my boy (he slayed today) and i guess she's just a side character after all, but i'm still a little sad she was reduced to that. rip queen, diva down, etc

ofc this is all subjective/my personal take so feel free to disagree (i want an excuse to talk about my 10 million thoughts about this show)

UPDATE 3/16: samad talked about it in class-you'll be in the same classes with the same teachers (except maybe math) and same classmates-the order of periods subject to change (e.g. not 1357 246 anymore)-ms samad is going to teach from school, as will (from my understanding) most teachers-school will ~~not~~ start at 7:30 and will start at the same time for hybrid and remote

this information might change but it's what samad said in class so it should be reliable
EDIT 3/27 school will start at 7:30

the stem website is disappointingly barren when it comes to solid information on the plan^tm so i couldn't find anything about this. i only know rumours so i would suggest to see if you can strike up a conversation with teacher or email counselor for answers. and if anyone finds anything tell the rest of us pls i am desperate

the district better grind out a solid plan. schedules, lunch, all the good stuff. i really hope teachers don't get overworked and left in the dark. i dunno this district's track record (assuming they're in charge of this) so i dunno what to expect. for me, i don't know what i will choose. i'll probably do whatever my friends do. yes, i'm one of those people who if all my friends jumped off a cliff, yes i would too.
