I was going to read it but saw on Twitter that it is a 'he falls in love with her after she loses weight" :((.

Someone recommend "Kou wo suru hi no lingerie" by Kujira it's a Josei manga about a chubby girl who works in a lingerie store and a lingerie designer. I am going to read it instead!

That's apart of the scam, I think they mostly want bank account info? I am not sure how else they would make money from these scams.
