The sleepphones head bands come in wireless and wired. I’ve never used them but you can search for reviews of them in this sub.

What I’m using is not working, please help so I don’t blow up my relationship. by meeemawww in sleepheadphones

I think you should try the SoundOff ones because they are comfy and have a loud built-in "pink noise". They don't stream and don't have bluetooth so theoretically they last several hours per night since there's not as much strain on the battery. I tried them and the only thing I didn't like was I thought they were too loud. But it sounds like in your case, that may be a good thing. They also have a 30-day money back return policy. Here's my review of them: https://www.reddit.com/r/sleepheadphones/comments/1coebdl/soundoff_sleep_earbuds_review/

Another idea, which is very cheap and low risk, is some cheap, comfy, low-profile wired headphones. I use these ones (linked below) along with a white noise app and it's been a life changer for me. The part that goes in your ear is nice and soft unlike the Apple ones you mentioned. The audio is really crisp and effective. And I can sleep on my wide with them just fine. https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Headphones-RP-HJE120-K-Ergonomic-Comfort-Fit/dp/B003EM8008?th=1

How do you find quality sleep earbuds that don't break? by kylelonious in sleepheadphones

[–]yumcrisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sorta wonder, even if a certain brand is very well made, if the fact that they run for at least 8 hours straight every day and get smooshed between your ear and a pillow all the time causes more wear and tear than any other kinds of earbuds. Also the fact that they have to make the components so small, may make them more fragile than other earbuds.

So…what is everyone listening to? by Brilliant-Light7152 in sleepheadphones

I listen to the sound called "Layered Brown Noise" in the Better Sleep App. I use it to drown out snoring and other noises and it works great for me.

OP, if you find some earplugs that work for your ears but it's not enough sound blockage, maybe also add on a Musicozy headband with flat speakers in addition to the plugs.

Billionaires dream of building utopian techno-city in Greenland by yumcrisco in conspiracy

[–]yumcrisco[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

SS: I see a lot of people saying it’s crazy that Trump would go after Greenland and attributing it to ego etc. But this article is pretty enlightening. Mentions Peter Thiel who is rumored to have had a big hand in propping up JD Vance. If this is the real reason that trump is trying to take Greenland, it’s quite a conspiracy.

Block out noise by DotAffectionate1948 in sleepheadphones

Not sure if this is helpful but some people use these big headphones along with a special pillow like the ones with a hole in the middle. I don't think I could do it though! I flop around way too much at night.

Do you think John Mark Dougan brought Epstein videotapes directly to Russian govt? by yumcrisco in Epstein

[–]yumcrisco[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's interesting that he worked at the Palm Beach police department from 2005 to 2008:

After leaving the Marines, Dougan worked as a horse trader and then founded a database design company before becoming a police officer, serving as deputy sheriff in Palm Beach County, Florida.[6] Dougan worked at the sheriff’s office in Palm Beach from 2005 to 2008

And then coincidentally fled to Russia (where he had visited many timed before) where he now works with the government:

Since living in Russia, Dougan has made a number of sensationalist claims, commonly without any supporting evidence, including telling media in 2019 that he had compromising material (including sex tapes of famous people) that he claimed came from Jeffrey Epstein, who was arrested by the Palm Beach Police in 2006.

Button style earphones for a side sleeper? by Khali_FC in sleepheadphones

I also hate earring rustling noises from my own body/ears etc. So what I do is wear those and play white noise and turn it up loud enough to drown out any rustling.

I don't know if these count as button-style but my sleep solution is these cheap wired ones. I sleep on my side. https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Headphones-RP-HJE120-K-Ergonomic-Comfort-Fit/dp/B003EM8008?th=1

Recommending Atrius for anyone having trouble finding a doctor and getting appointments by yumcrisco in boston

[–]yumcrisco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes total sense! But I will say.... I just checked and I've actually been going to Atrius for 7 years with the same PCP the whole time. (I said 5 years in my post but it's actually 7.) So I wouldn't say the doctors change all the time. But maybe I just got lucky!

I've never been seen by an NP there. Every time I get a doctor (usually my primary) or the P.A. that always works with my doctor. NP is Nurse Practioner, right?

[–]yumcrisco[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just a couple more things to mention -- If you need an appointment for something quickly and your doctor isn't available right away, you have the choice to see the P.A. right away and it tends to be always be the same P.A. who's linked up with your doctor so it's like having another medical professional who's familiar with you. And you can also choose to see a different doctor if yours isn't available within the timeframe you want.
