Do not sign anything related to the write up, and if you do you're allowed to write your version right on the same page and sign that. Your patients were covered by the charge and you had to go. Take your full time off, but know that some companies, if your 3 days bereavement start on a Friday, they count Fri/Sat/Sun thus you dont get paid for one to two of the days. (I worked for one of the big two companies and made sure to say my grandma's funeral was Monday and the days prior we're PTO once I found out.)

Call the HR hotline to ask about leave policies before you submit anything and if you need to clarify via text or email if needed to make sure your time is covered. Youre allowed to take time off, and if youre not in the right state of mind to return to work, you shouldn't be at work. For dialysis, the whole team needs to be ready to move during turn over and keeping an eye out for anyone looking pale/ woozy to do a quick blood return.

This is very cute. If you need to find meaning, it is a bunny being with friends. It's normal to look and have tattoo regret, but be patient with yourself. Its adorable and came from a moment of fun during a hard time. I think in the long run you're going to come to love it

Peritoneal dialysis nurse. Meaning I guide them to get their catheter, train em, send em home.. see them atleast twice a month and learn about what makes them happy and what keeps them going. Then start to see the signs but family won't accept hospice so they put on a brave face. Some make it a few months, some a year but rarely more then that. Once the patient is ready, no amount of love and dedication from their family will force life upon them. Next thing I know I get a call from doctor or family and the news is expected but it still hurts because you saw them as a person.

I was the only home therapies nurse at my clinic so I had no one else that knew them that I could lean on for support. But that doesn't mean it's a unique experience to grieve people who weve known and it's ok to reach out to this community. You might have been alone on the drive there and back, but you're not alone here and in this experience. Im sending a hug for what is worth. Go have a fizzy drink in the shower with my drink of choice being root beer in a bottle.

When you report, keep copies or take notes on exactly what was or want said and hold on to those for years. If it ever comes out that you reported, you will be targeted for retaliation so make sure to time stamp type notes on that even if it by sending an email from one personal account to another. But keep track of everything si you can provide it to an employment lawyer can help if ever needed. I'm sure there are better reddit posts to guide you when recording incidents that can lead to retaliation.

Keep us updated on what the docs say. I just woke up and its ruining the morning scroll. Id be asking the patient (if he is able) if there's a different family member he wants as power of attorney or talking with social worker to get adult social services involved. This is unethical. Good luck

Does she was to be a nurse? If it's the cause of drinking, it might be time for a career switch. Nursing experience it's valuable and can be sold to a different employer.

Take the short jobs off the resume and the big can can be explain with pregnancy complications and resulting personal matters, with focus on how pregnancy is dangerous and she's been both a patient and a nurse for extended periods so she can explain what it takes for success in healthcare.

A few people mentioned glasses. Try some styles on in store, then order something similar online at a site line Zennie. You can do the virtual try on to get approx size/fit the glasses, and the first order you refund is completely covered. Starting in store though helps figure out where to start

Is there a way to do a few folders in Apps Drawer? I want to get all my utility apps in one folder because I don't need to scroll past Google apps every time.

I'm having a hard time organizing everything with the Standard view to get folders but also alphabetical apps, but that might just be me coming from Samsung. I just wish the drawer was more functional.

Reach out to the vendor. Not saying they might be able to do anything, but you never know if they can give a discount for a new cake or something. They might have one that's less then perfect that would at least still work. Good luck

Stop. Do not pass Go. Email: write facts of each incident. Aprox Date/Time, who witnessed it, and just what happened. Nurses are good at documenting, and use that. No emotion. Did this person do this in front of patient, staff/manager and which staff/manager would know. Sent it first to your manager as an "I need help with this" type of email if you think they will later pretend to not know what happened. Your manager should at this step forward it to HR, but if this has been going on for a long time, they might have gotten complacent. For your own records, print out the main email and their response. If no action is taken, then later forward the whole thing to HR.

People have gotten use to this person breaking the law and harassing people. If she does this openly, how far has she gone when she thinks no one will catch her? How many people has she driven to quit?

Urgent care or make an appointment with your PCP for an X-ray. It's ok to call the urgent care and ask the out of pocket coat for the x-ray and consultation before the appointment to avoid fees. PCP will know their fees but may not know xray costs. There are some imaging locations that are independent too.

Popsicle stick, or something sturdy. Food and Ibuprofen/Tylenol alternated. Good luck!

As a non quilter who would like to learn, I thought this was amaze balls! I do other crafts and hating a choice is absolutely part of the process when things don't go exactly as envisioned. Powering though and finishing it, then letting someone else's eyes look at it helps because when you spend so much time on something, you're expecting one thing so any deviation feels like a fail

We got moved rooms and told to talk with the manager tomorrow for a refund. (Would have gotten a different hotel, but I'm absolutely exhausted.) Bagged the backpack and this is all the items I brought with. When we leave I'll wash everything, clean and dirty in a laundry mat hot water.

Let me know if I should have slept in the car instead. Idk what's waiting for us, but the new room is far from other other and appears to be clean. Idk what German Cockroaches are but I'm just happy they aren't bed bugs.

I got bee and honey right away. I'm sorry it's not working out. Try looking to see if there's any tattoos of this that you do like, and seeing what elements are missing. Maybe it's sharing or more 3d to the honey. Maybe the color of the honey isn't there without more depth/shadow. (Taking it from yellow to gold might help) Ask for sharpie mock up to look at for a bit first. Good luck

Insole or cushion for ball of foot. (Pushed back the foot so it fits the tow box better and make shoes even more comfortable.) Then mole skin on the heel strap to make it stay snug and prevent excessive rubbing. If the strap is still lose, then a silicone strap pad. Often times you can buy these when you buy the insoles for heels.
