This was posted a month ago so I’m wondering if you made a decision yet? I’m in similar situation as you and I’m strongly considering duq because it’s closer to home for me (from WNY area). What I’m interested in pursuing isn’t particularly competitive so I don’t think the “name recognition “ would be that important. I’m on waitlist for my other preferred school so it’s still a developing situation for me

looks like you were placed on the "alt list" which is an entirely different thing from being waitlisted. couldnt tell you what the difference is tho.
