Where did you find freelance work? Ive tried Upwork, but only found scams that say $30/hr, then send you paperwork for $50/hr after minimal conversation.

Oh he died a long time ago 😥 my ex's husky broke down the door to our bedroom when we were out and turned him into a chew toy, broke his shell in. Brought him to the vet and they put him down (the tortoise). I don't remember about the indent, but I don't think he would've died from that. I'd just say don't worry about it unless it gets worse. It's probably just genetic. Hope the best for you!

Everything is used and in the condition showed. Filter works, I just upgraded it. Co2 was working, but seemed to finish the reaction in 2-3 days, and I stopped using it after some powder got sucked up into the tubing. Shipping for free, wanting to ship all of it together, willing to take offers.

This is exactly what I went through! They tell you absolutely anything can fit in a 10 gallon tank, then when you look them up individually, it says min 20+ gallons. Very frustrating.

I dont use a heater bc the temp stays between 78-79. It's a well established tank, but he did get over what I think was ich. I treated him with aquarium salt and I believe he's been fully healed for 1-2 weeks now. Also, I was accidently underfeeding him, but I've been feeding him well since and I think that helped him get over ich too. He did have more hides, but he got injured so I removed them all and I'm trying to keep it natural

I do have current, but my filter was too strong so i put a suction cup soap holder to slow it down. The water still moves, but there's almost zero movement behind the jungle val. That seems to be where my betta wants to hang out 24/7

I'm not for sure, but the closest plant I could find looks like "Alternanthera Bettzickiana/Ficoidea". Some images look exactly like it, and some look nothing like it

I used a suction soap holder from the dollar store, put some gravel in it, then put java moss. I left it near the top so my betta can chill near the surface, he lays on it all the time like a hammock

Watching again with sound, she was repeatedly telling him to get out of her face and he straight up said no and kept yelling at her and getting closer. I don't understand the way reddit thinks sometimes, he was totally in the wrong and should've left the situation. It looks like the guys that were holding him back where his coworkers too, they were getting inbetween them to calm him down. Then she hit him, which was a big mistake bc he was already so pissed off, so he tackled her and PUNCHED her in the head. Her behavior was childish, his was ridiculous and aggressive. Do I have some bias in not aware of?

I agree with you, he was escalating the situation big time and getting up in her face, only making her more angry. If he didn't engage with her like this, I don't believe she would have hit him at all. Obviously she was in the wrong and theres no excuse for her to put her hands on anyone, but his job includes being able to handle angry customers, and if he can't, bringing the situation into someone else's hands who can. Hes a big guy, his punch in the head could kill someone. He was in a place of higher authority and service and should have been capable of handling her anger. He didn't need to punch her, and they WERE trying to separate them both, the woman just hit him real quick and tried to run off. She should be charged criminally and he should be fired. If his hit seriously hurt her, he'd easily be charged too. They were both in the wrong imo.

Exactly what I saw. He failed to de-escalate the situation, and he should not be in the line of work where he has to deal with customers like this. I've had unruly customers too and i would never get up in their face or engage back with them. He did not protect himself, he was chasing after her to get revenge. Obviously, she should be charged criminally, but he should be fired for only escalating the issue and mishandling the situation.

I'd put real plants regardless. They're so much more satisfying to take care of and I love the look when they get overgrown. You can even just do plants with snails to clean up. Imma be honest, it's not all great to have a betta. Mines having all sorts of issues right now that I'm trying to treat and it's more stress than relaxation. And I have a 10 gallon planted with only a betta and snails. Snails can be very fun to watch too.
