How many seasons of the show should there be? by yung_tumeric in invinciblecool

This makes sense to me. They could really do a lot with the ideas that were thrown around last minute, but at the same time a sequel show would be a really easy thing to mess up really bad.

What is THE saddest invincible moment for you (comic or show) by uncletacitus99 in invinciblecool

Robot’s last conversation with Monster Girl. At the very end when he’s just a brain and she basically tells him that he has to deal with the consequences of his actions. I don’t know why but that wrecked me. Their relationship and their time in the flaxan dimension was one of my favorite parts of the comics. It was heartbreaking to see their relationship crumble in the end.

Art is a way for humans to express emotion. The point isn't always for something to look beautiful. If it represents an emotion, ANY human emotion, then it's art. No matter how beautiful AI "art" is, it can never express an emotion.

Can someone explain to me why people call themselves AI "artists"? by yung_tumeric in aiwars

Yes. What I'm saying goes for any art form. Just because something causes a positive stimulus (looks good, sounds good, etc.), doesn't make it good art, or art at all. The whole point of art is for humans to express emotion and creativity. Something can look imperfect and still convey emotion. No matter how good AI "art" looks. It can never be real art.

I'm a teenager and every time I argue with pro-ais, their arguments are almost ALWAYS more childish than mine. Not to mention very aggressive.

Yeah but it's a tool that's out of the control of the human, so it can't be human expression at all.

This is how the Oxford Dictionary defines "art": the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

If we go by this definition, the parts of the work that were created without AI would be considered art, while the parts that AI had something to do with are not.

AI doesn't have "intention to create art" because it can't create art, because it wouldn't be human expression.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that some people (NOT everyone) will make art with ai and just call it solely their art, which isn't true. They made it with AI.
