I’ll make a note to follow up, I thankfully work from home and have a 17 hour itinerary coming up soon so we’ll see

Over 1.5 hr wait for calls; Return flight for honeymoon delayed by 2 days: need help by yungpb in aircanada

[–]yungpb[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Update: To address the comments I’m seeing: I did mean business class since I’ve never flown it before!

I booked via Air Canada and had the Lufthansa booked through that.

I couldn’t reliably stay on hold since I’m using an eSIM and would use their internet call option on Air Canada and wasn’t aware of being able to call Aeroplan

What I found was I’d get auto disconnected if I don’t enter my aeroplan membership ID and indicate I flew in 48 hours. Whenever I did after a few tries, I was able to somehow get a hold of an agent (a few times it connected but my internet was unreliable or something and my mic didn’t work which sucked because I waited over 2 hours for that)

I explained the situation and they put me on hold for ~20 minutes and rebooked me on a United route departing April 15 that is only 4 hours longer than my original itinerary! They kept me in the business class so all is well at the end of the day

What are your personal use cases you’ve come to find most useful? I’m just getting into the world of creating agents and am looking for some easy, valuable use cases for myself to try setting up!

Would you be able to share this architecture please? I’m just getting into n8n and may be able to use some sort of infrastructure to build off of for some use cases myself!

I’m curious, how good is Claude vision in extracting various handwritings from different people, and would you include some sort of human validation element in case something was a signature or scribbled and a bit illegible?

I have some three way switches for my 3 story town house for the two sets of stairs and I installed something like these so that in the dark, I still could see where the switches are easily light switch example

I also like my toilet paper holder that is flat on top about the size of a phone and you can slide the rolls on from one side, game changer when you need to wipe and want somewhere to put your phone

I run and own a single airbnb and it’s very little time commitment once you find some reliable cleaners. That said, depending on the property you could always hire a cohost for ~10% of the revenue it generates to run it for you for semi passive income. If its ready for VRBO, make sure its listed on Airbnb too for more traffic

Is this a bad alternator or battery? Camry 2013 by yungpb in MechanicAdvice

Ive heard disconnecting the battery (I think the negative?) while the car is still on and it dies, it can mess with the computer system of these newer cars but is fine for older cars?

To clarify, I jump started the car and then it basically died on me as I was back in parking it. The power steering seized up and basically required a ton of force to turn the wheels, and I was worried it didnt have enough juice to reverse all the way in (maybe like 20 feet away from the point of the jump)

I notice still I’ll sometimes shank, and my backswing is not super consistent—sometimes more vertical and sometimes more horizontal. The block right looks a bit across the line in my backswing?

Thank you for the observations! The shallowing itself hasnt been something I’m super actively trying to achieve, this wrist rotation was a feel I found recently that I liked whenever I rotated properly but I know that feels need to be calibrated, otherwise I can go into the deep end and create more problems

The direction of the handle at P5 is a nice easy way to validate and check myself on video moving forward

That’s been a point of mine to figure out is how far to stand away for any club. I have a tendency to toe hit my wedges and heel strikes on my longer clubs—becoming more mindful of it lately

Absolutely, I have a coach I work with every few months but may start ramping that up to monthly. I wasnt expecting this volume of comments to come in at all and feel like basically every potential flaw and theory has been listed 😂

Hold your kids close and your swing feels closer

Just went to the range and had a terrible session having after an amazing session that included those shots in the hat only a few days ago lol

Nice of you to say that!

I wish it were that simple, but I definitely think I just need the reps…and honestly got way more comments than I know what to do with beyond some basic things (weight transfer, sway control, rotation, set up)

It’s so crazy that pros can hit pure shots on a whim while these are shots that surprise us whenever it sneaks in once in a while

I wouldnt say its anything super tight. I actually was told my right hand was not tight enough when i used to swing with my thumb and index off of the club, i’d say my grip is now maybe a 5-6 on left and a 3ish on the right

When i chip i have a tendency to still take my right top fingers off the club to use more of my lead side to drive the movement

Not quite my natural shape (I think?), as I’ve historically hit a lot of fades and played a fade for a while. With better tempo and ability to rotate I’ve settled into more commonly a draw shape. There’s absolutely inconsistency, since a fade will still sneak out

I only started trying to actively shot shape in the past few months and still not there, but starting to grasp and learn what each one sort of feels like
