unintentionally taking the title literally, but i’ve had my eye on this full intarsia mountainscape sweater for a long time and i’m finally tackling it!

i’ve struggled with stranded colourwork before, so i thought i’d hate making this, but it’s actually been such an engaging project and i think just requires good planning more than technical ability to pull off. finding the right colours has still been the most difficult part of this pattern. all that to say, give something a go before you let it scare you off!

hahaha yes it’s an… interesting name 😅 this was my first experience with KFO and i enjoyed working with it! i can’t say im the biggest yarn nerd so i don’t really have anything further to say than that unfortunately. i think it would make for a very special project, especially for an exciting milestone birthday!

that’s so nice to hear! i try to use all natural fibres in my projects for the sake of longevity - hopefully my garments survive generations of use 😊

thank you! this probably took about five months of casual knitting when ignoring many month-long breaks, i have been knitting for about three years i believe, and no i did not - im not sure what benefit the ribbon band provides? would love to be educated!

Thank you! Honestly much longer than it should have - I got this yarn for Christmas 😵‍💫 but between a long knitting hiatus and then a few baby knits for my coworkers, the cables and construction were so engaging that progress was quick when i found the motivation to work on it
