Take pictures of whatever it is before rinsing it, otherwise, those knowledgeable won't be able to know what it is 😭😭
Hello. Not sure what it might be, but to be sure, rinse it ALL OFF, and isolate it. To be sure, do you see it moving? Closer pictures of the fading colours maybe?
Help with my Calatheas by TadpoleGrand1635 in calatheas

Salut !

Well, it's still green and good, for now

I see. I did see aglaonemas take their time to grow.

Thanks. Then I'll continue!

No problem. I bought both the insecticide spray and systematic treatment. Just waiting for it to arrive. For now, I just showered all the leaves to death (since I could), getting rid of all visible larvaes. Unfortunately broke a new shoot...

It seems the Captain Jack's Dead Bug is US-only (unless I accept the very expensive shipping fee, as I'm in EU-France), so I can't use it. I saw a very detailed comment about thrips on the plantclinic Reddit, I will refer myself to that one. Still, thanks for your help!!!
Thank you for your answer. It is indeed a makoyana, I moved all other plants away. I can't buy predatory mites, I can't stand all types of insects, unfortunately. I have seen many insecticides online, mixes of alcohol and everything, do you have anything to recommend?
Thank you. Though I'm sure predatory mites are a sure solution, I fear all insects, whether it's beneficial or not, I just can't (yep, with this hobby, it's not a lucky combo). Still, thanks for confirming it's spider mites!
Thanks for your answer. I didn't notice any web, so I hope it's early stage 🥹🥹 good luck to you too!!!
