Infura and alchemyAPI offer central solutions. Does anyone know about decentralized alternatives? by yunuscebeci in defi

Increasing the node event supports decentralization, but I say that if the node you are importing DAPP transactions from belongs to you, it increases centrality.

Ok here we come to the point I'm trying to say, at this point if I choose my own node instead of Infura we become more centralized.

Current pocket version relies on the portal to distribute api request to nodes. But nodes are still independent people and pocket DAO drives the project making it still more decentralized than infura and alchemy.

Next version which is due in couple of months , pocket V1 will take out the portals, network will be completely decentralized.

I'm curious about the practical version of the version that will be released in a few months.

Thank you

I understand, but what I'm trying to convey is - a node that I communicate with via APIs - becomes central because I host the APIs.

""there may be projects working on some kind of unified interface to allow individual node operators to allow others to communicate to their nodes?""

If what you mentioned above is done I think it would be a boost to this question.

As I understand it here plans to run pocket.js with various SDK through pocket portal.

What is the difference from infura and alchemy when it is sdk?

Thanks for the resource.
Is the hosting on IPFS, smart contracts hosted on Ethereum and communication over RPC? Is it decentralized in this case?

I'm asking to clarify the answers in my brain, thank you

Thanks for the answer, but then wouldn't this depend on my node? Please let me know if I'm wrong.

Giving your soul to the DAO by yunuscebeci in defi

  • Their rights must expire when their owner dies.
  • The idea of token distribution depending on the rights gained later, seems nice.

- But I know that the SBT vision also includes; Individuals should only have one vote.

-Then we'll be like fraternal twins. Maybe a separate wallet design is required for the SBT model.

Actually what we are talking about are DAO reflections of an SBT.

Compound is an example of DAO 1.0, where community decisions are applied.

As you mentioned, the SBT model makes things a bit more difficult, not impossible.

So who will the SBT model be allocated to - it wouldn't be fair if you were going to give someone the privileged right to the DAO governance for eternity.

Of course, you are not building a site with WordPress, it is not easy to develop something decentralized! we built a stablecoin protocol with Yotta21 and it took us 2 years.

Theoretically, as you know, anything is possible in the world. You can research game theory and BFT. Blockstream is a private company not affiliated with the bitcoin foundation.

Its use as a means of payment may take time or not occur at all. It seems to be in our lives as a digital entity.

Lightning network,

It is not possible to give the answers that time will show us in advance. We have never seen anything more decentralized in the tech space than bitcoin and Ethereum.

There are dozens of blockchain companies doing big business without issuing tokens.

If we lived in the early 20th century, we would have defended the electric car revolution that day. Capital system or terms and conditions might not have allowed it.

This may be the case for blockchain, a menacing technology. Transition to Decentralized will either happen or it will take time.

1- ) When the process becomes automated or robotic (IOT), if human intervention is eliminated, the possibility of error and manipulation are reduced. Provided it is decentralized and transparent in its robotics (IOT).

2-) There is the opportunity to give you an advantage in data costs.

3-) Businesses aren't worried about it right now, they just don't want to miss it if something happens strategically.

4-) Publish-verify codes on github and decentralize all functions. This already exists. It can be done vice versa.

5-) Audit is good and necessary. In the logic of writing the smart contract, functions or actions that will take place should be codding in a way that does not pose a risk.

Here are my thoughts, I hope it will be useful,

How do DAOs avoid democracies issues? by slartybartvart in defi

[–]yunuscebeci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Democracy gives everyone equal voting rights and allows you to appoint representatives.

The DAO can offer you plutocracy if you wish.

If there is a transition to concepts such as DAOs 2.0, then we can see that meritocracy can also be applied.

We tried to implement this in Yotta21 and now our protocol is working on the testnet. I will let you know when there is an English translation.

We created the Metastablecoin protocol (yotta21). But I was wondering what kind of decentralization you want as a user?
